Christie-Aschwanden-metascience2019Christie Aschwanden is the author of GOOD TO GO: What the Athlete in All of Us Can Learn From the Strange Science of Recovery, a tome on metascience masquerading as a sports book. She has written extensively about metascience and reproducibility for FiveThirtyEight, where she spent more than four years as the lead science writer. She’s a frequent contributor to The Washington Post and The New York Times, and her work appears in dozens of other publications, including Discover, Popular Science, Slate, Consumer Reports, New Scientist, Men’s Journal, Runner’s World, Mother Jones, NPR.org, Smithsonian and O, the Oprah Magazine. She’s co-host of EMERGING FORM, a podcast about the creative process, and is at work on her next book.
