John Protzko

John Protzko is a postdoctorate scholar at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He received his Ph. D. in Developmental Psychology from New York University. His research in developmental psychology looks at the causal effects of environments on cognitive development and human intelligence. His postdoctoral training is in the field of metascience, originally starting as project manager to a 4-University consortium of labs looking into the reproducibility of brand new effects. He also works as project manager on the Psychological Science Accelerator, a worldwide consortium of labs working together to address replicability and generalizability.
